Volunteers Needed!

Interested in helping us welcome Patrons? No prior experience needed — we are happy to train you! All areas in Front-of-House operations are looking for enthusiastic people. If one or more of the following roles interest you, then please call us at (830) 438-2339.

Volunteer Positions

Check-In
3 Positions Per Show – Mask Required
When Patrons arrive at your assigned Entrance Point, if you observe any  signs of  illness, you will check temperatures with a touchless forehead scanner as they enter.

If any Patron displays a temperature above 100 degrees, you must ask them to wait near the entrance for a minimum of 3 minutes and then re-screen. You will be expected to inform the Patron they will need to reschedule their visit, if their temperature remains above 100 degrees.

You will use a provided tablet to check-in each Patron, then continue to wait for additional Patrons to arrive.

Cashier
1 Position Per Show – Gloves Mask Required
You will handle cash, check, or credit card payments for Concessions. Gloves and mask are required and will be provided.  Due to Concession sales during Intermission, you will be expected to remain at the theater for at least the first half of the Performance.

Concession
3 Positions Per Show – Gloves Mask Required
You will be serving desserts and drinks. Gloves and mask are required and will be provided.  Due to Concession sales during Intermission, you will be expected to remain at the theater for at least the first half of the Performance.

Wine Bar
1 Position Per Show – Gloves Mask Required
You will serving wine. Gloves and mask are required and will be provided.  Due to Concession sales during Intermission, you will be expected to remain at the theater for at least the first half of the Performance.

Light/Sound Tech
1 Position Per Show 
You will be operating the light and sound equipment during a Performance, working in a designated Booth at the front of the building.

You will meet with the Director of an upcoming production and attend rehearsals as needed to practice lighting and sound operation with performers on the stage.

Costumes Tech
Number Varies
You will meet with the Director of an upcoming production, then help to design and construct costumes as needed.

Set Design/Construction
Number Varies
You will assist the Resident Tech Manager in designing and constructing a stage set according to instructions from the Director of an upcoming production. You will be expected to attend rehearsals as needed and work outside of rehearsal hours to complete the project.

Makeup/Hair Tech
Number Varies
You will work with the Director of an upcoming production, attending rehearsals as needed. You will also work as a make-up and hair artist for performers during prep for each Performance.
