Scott Leibowitz (Willie) is excited to be making his first appearance at S.T.A.G.E. A veteran of San Antonio theatre for decades, Scott earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from Southwest Texas State University. He currently teaches acting and theater at San Antonio Senior Centers with Seniors In Play, an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of San Antonio’s seniors through theatrical programming that fosters creativity, connection, and joy. Scott has worked with such diverse theatre companies as San Antonio Melodrama Theatre, San Antonio Little Theatre, Alamo City Theatre, Harlequin Dinner Theater, Shoestring Shakespeare Company, The Sheldon Vexler Theatre, and, most recently, the Overtime Theatre. Some of his favorite roles over the years include: Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Eddie in Conversations with My Father, Stanley Gardener in Run for Your Wife, Todd in Unnecessary Farce, Eddie Carbone in A View from the Bridge, and Matt Friedman in Talley’s Folly. Scott looks forward to adding Willie Clark to the list. Scott would like to thank his wife, Michele for putting up with his frequent absences through the years as he pursues this crazy passion. Finally, he would like to thank all of the cast and crew of The Sunshine Boys for making this a wonderful experience. Enjoy the show!
