LAURA OATES (Millicent) is humbled to return to S.T.A.G.E. for the third time, working alongside an outstanding cast and crew as well as an incredibly gifted pair of directors. She previously performed here in the role of Mrs. Wakowski in In Laws, Outlaws, and Other People (That Should Be Shot) and was a member of the backstage crew during The Trip to Bountiful. Laura and her talented husband Jeff Oates both love working on and off-stage and were honored by S.T.A.G.E. with the “best crew” award for their backstage teamwork. Laura's previous theater credits include lead roles in Splendor in the Grass, My Three Angels, Berkeley Square, and I Remember Mama, and she supported an all-male cast working behind the scenes during a production of Billy Budd. Outside of theater, Laura loves her career as a leadership development manager and coach, spending time with family and friends, and playing 9-pin bowling at the Bulverde Bowling Club with her rockstar team We Don't Give a Split.
